I just love the idea of this movie, from the plot, to cast, to settings, legit everything. With me going into this movie with high expectations and thought I'd be disappointed, I was more wrong. Not as scary as I thought but is defiently worth the watch. I'll defiently have to check out more things from these actors/actresses. In my opinion this movie was casted really well, everyone suited their characters perfectly and I can't see anyone else playing these roles. Even though I only knew Fluke, I fell in love with the other cast members as well. His character Yorla is defiently different from other characters I've seen him play, but he somehow suits this character as well. Fluke is an incredible actor and his acting is so diverse.

The reason I wanted to watch this movie was for Fluke. I loved the concept of having the story surround the ship, it's not a unique idea but loved the idea nonetheless.

I didn't get bored from watching this movie, to the point I wanted it to be longer. The way it all played out and how everything fitted together was pleasant to watch. That's just one out of many that were played out.Īlso the story in general I loved. It left me shocked, especially how they revealed such a thing.

The biggest plot twist that occurred was with one of the character's Nick and what happened to him in the end (don't want to spoil too much hehe). The amount of times I was left mind blown from this movie was incredible, and the thing is that they are played out so well that you don't see anything coming. Like yes, there are a couple jump scares that did get me but overall wasn't as scary as I thought. I loved the comedy side but I think it overshadowed the horror aspects for me. One thing it did lack for me was that it wasn't scary. Finally, I actually watched it and I wasn't disappointed. But there’s a more serious question, that no one remembers to ask: Who murdered Mia? Edit TranslationĬOMEDIC HORROR!!!! Ghost Ship has been a movie I've been wanting to watch for ages, like months. The only way to save the boat and everyone on it is to locate Mia’s body. The ghost terrorizes the sailors, who can’t escape anywhere except into the water that surrounds them. Mia’s spirit is set loose and wreaking havoc on the boat in the middle of the sea. Once the ship sets sail, the body hidden in the engine room disappears. He decides that he has to get rid of the body, and comes up with a plan to throw Mia’s body in the middle of the sea. The captain orders everyone to calm down. The corpse also sets off panic among other sailors. But what they discover is shocking: the lifeless body of Mia, the wife of the boat’s owner, is hanged from a mast in a gruesome fashion. At a dark pier in the middle of the night, a boat captain and his mate, Nong, are readying their vessel for the next trip.
